3rd Day - Oct 3rd

I think hanging out with the wife, friends, and pets, going to shows, writing songs, recording, listening to music, and practicing, is a pretty good life.

2nd Day - Thurs 10/2

When will I start looking for a new job?  Not today.  Not this week. Probably not this month.  Setup this blog this morning, played extensive fake mouse on a wire madness with Devo, and dropped the lady off at the casual carpool line.

The Coup chore boy insert... "Wear clean drawers, every day!"  Got the laundry going.  Devo my find familiar is sitting here on the desk as I type.

Phillies Game 2 later this afternoon.  Will likely ride bike to College Ave for usual Thursday Cuban Sandwich and Cappuccino.

VP Debate and Poker game tonight in SF.

1st Day of No Work - Oct 1 2008

Filing for unemployment at age 38 feels a little strange.  I wonder if I'll still qualify even though I'm getting a Vacation and Severance payout? I don't know about such things. Spent the morning doing some football analysis, playing bass, reading a bit of "The Rock Snob*s Dictionary", and paying bills, damn you Comcast and ATT, I need you but I don't like paying you!

It will be great to be around for the newest member of the household, our new kitty Devo. He just wants to play, play, play all day.  He's growing quick and is already 4.5 pounds.

Watched the Phillies take Game 1 in the NLDS over the Brewers.  Sabathia will be much tougher on Thursday.

Setup Evite for Cobra Costume Halloween.  Finally have a chance to host, sweet!

Cardio workout at the gym and leftover rib-eye, rice, and salad for dinner.  Damn, that Anderson Valley ESB is good stuff.

Didn't get very far on the dog walk.  Kela is walking less and less these days.
